post-hibernation
i still could not believe that it's been nearly 2 months now since i last created an entry.
a lot of things have happened actually.
i just didn't have the time to blog about them, primarily because of the hectic work schedule i currently hold.
the past 2 months has just been buzzing with a lot of things to do that i even didn't have the time to squeeze in christmas shopping!
sorry dear friends, i'll make up for it next year.
here are some bullets from the past weeks that i think are worth a mention:
1) 10.15 my boss and my team leads just came back from New Jersey to do knowledge transition for the project - it was the official kick-off!
i now have a project. i now have a purpose. :)
2) 11.12 fuck this day. MY PHONE GOT STOLEN.
and take note: it happened at the office.
i left my phone charging in my cubicle as i would buy food for a teammate's despedida.
after 30 minutes, the phone is gone.
i just hope karma will work its cosmic scheme on that thief.
3) 12.04 ava's ana's 1st bday party @ popeye's greenbelt. it was nice seeing old faces again.
and later that night, i cried my heart out to my friends regarding the confusions lodging in me lately.
4) 12.17. our team's xmas party. jo was there. more about that later.
5) 12.21. company party @ world trade center. and i bought a fabulous shirt for 3000 bucks.
pretty impulsive splurging. :)
6) 12.24 rhoda's last day - my senior team lead's resigning. and she's flying to singapore.
7) 12.26 sleep all day. hihi. pretty major for me. considering the hours of sleep i ahve been deprived of lately.
8) 12.14 a friend's friend died after being on comatose for about 4 days.
he had seizures and was declared DOA when rushed to the hospital.
he was revived though
9) 12.12 ow. i now got a laptop. well, it's not really mine...
my project would need support work on weekends. remote connectivity is a must then.
so chadannn! a brand new hp compaq nc6000.
my manager's planning to install DSL over at my house to have faster remote connection. :)
talking about the perks of the job.

jo is in hometown right now. bummer.
i didn't see jo last thursday.
i'll surely devote a day's entry just for jo.
you see, there's been some developments lately about the two of us.
wishful thinking by a disillusioned infatuated freak-o.
i hope jo brings pasalubong for me when he gets back.
even a single piece of danggit would do.

ok, i promise to blog more often from now on.
since i have the laptop now, it would be much easier for me to write, even just on weekends.
also, im thinking of writing in the vernacular now for it would be easier and more convenient for me as i am more comfortable with the local language.
but a part of me tries to stop me from doing so..
I might lose my international audience if i opt not to write in English.

anyway, it's a local holiday tomorrow. but i'll be reporting for work as there are some issues that just arose over the weekend.
poor me. i'm overworked and underpaid.
i just hope i don't die young.
